Slow Architecture

The project was conceived as a single volume, covered and characterized by a roof that is for all intents and purposes is the fifth elevation of the building.
The four vertical elevations, with irregular geometries and holes, create an interplay of surfaces, holes and veiling, generating dynamic facades.
The interior spaces are designed with simple, industrial finishes, yet performs to achieve comfort, flexibility and low maintenance over time.
High energy efficiency and sensory comfort were the cornerstones for the renovation of the Ferdeghini Sports Center.
